To Refine an item, players will need to speak with a Master Craftsman , located in Elysium as well as several key cities. Players will open the Interface window and select Refine. They will then be able to place an weapon or piece of armor into target window on the right side by clicking the 'Place' button. This will open up a new window displaying the character's inventory and gear. Right click on an item to place it in the Refine window.
Most items start at 100% and refinment will increase the item's damage stats to a maximum of 130%. Players may obtain or craft items that are higher than 100% but these items still have a maximum of 130% refinement. The current refinement level is shown as "Status" in the item description.
Refining an item will cost materials and incur a fee.
